Sarah Alexandra Lang

Sarah Alexandra Lang is active in the public health sector since 2012 and works at the health department in Frankfurt am Main since 2019. She is leading the subject area Humanitarian Consultation Hours and Access to Health Care and responsible for low-threshold medical consultation hours and projects related to access to health / social determinants. During the corona pandemic, she led an outbreak team responsible for social institutions.   

Prior to her current employment, she worked 5 years at the Robert Koch-Institute in Berlin in the subject areas vaccine preventable diseases and surveillance and was part of the working group Migration and Health. In this capacity, she gave an input at the WHO Summer School on Refugee and Migrant Health in 2018 in Palermo. 

Sarah holds a degree in social sciences (University of Mannheim 2009) and a European Master of Science in Epidemiology (University of Mainz 2016) and is a trained nurse.
