Pieter Van Roeyen works as a legal advisor for the Asylum and Migration department of Caritas International in Belgium. He advises on all legal matters concerning the status and rights of migrants and provides support on policy and advocacy issues. He holds a master’s degree in Law and studied at the University of Ghent and the University of Auckland. Before joining Caritas International, he was admitted to the Flemish bar and practiced commercial law and migration law.
