Márton Bisztrai has a degree in cultural anthropology. During the first chapter of his academic life, he had several research projects in Palestine. He has a strong background in lecturing in higher education and is an experienced trainer for professionals working with migrants. Since 2015 he has been working with refugees and other vulnerable migrant groups in the field and in researcher positions. He gained significant empirical research experience in migration-related questions in Central Europe (in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and Horizon 2020 projects such as Raisd and ReRoot). Besides Menedék Association for Migrants, he has worked for Amnesty Hungary, SOS Children Villages Hungary, and UNHCR.
